I love and celebrate all things birth! I'm passionate about researching and gaining education on evidence based information & practices for pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. Backed by years of experience and education (including a neruroscience degree!), I'm prepared to support you through whatever your parenting journey will bring!
I firmly believe in the power of knowledge. The more you know about your body and birth, the less you have to fear. I use my endless love and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and birth to help you prepare your mind and body, no matter what kind of birth you are planning!

During your pregnancy, you can expect to receive the most up to date information, as well as proven methods to prepare your mind and body for a great birth experience.
At your birth you will receive intuitive hands on support for your mind and body, enhancing their connection, and empowering you to have an incredible birth experience!

Birth Doula
We all have something impactful that brings us to birth work. My story of becoming a doula starts with my own birth experiences. My first two ended in cesarean sections, and when I became pregnant with my third, I felt like I was at an impasse - either surrender to more cesarean sections or fight to have the natural birth my heart desired and knew was possible. I began to educate myself and found a team that supported my goals. I have since been able to achieve three VBACs (vaginal birth after cesarean). I credit the positive change in my birth experiences to being properly educated about birth and the available options, while also having the right people to walk alongside me through pregnancy and labor!
My passion now is to support women in the same way others have so strongly supported me. It makes all the difference to have the right people on your team! I'm proactive and energetic to educate you throughout your pregnancy and support you (& your spouse) to achieve the birth your heart has longed for. While the exact birth results are never fully in our control, what we can control is the attitude we come to birth with and the ability to obtain knowledge that helps us understand the birth process, creating a confident experience!
During your pregnancy, we'll meet individually to foster a personal connection and outline your ideal birth experience. I'll provide continuous labor support and visit you postpartum to ensure a smooth transition into life with a newborn. Supporting you as you bring life into the world is a true privilege!

Birth & Postpartum Doula
My journey toward becoming a doula began after the birth of my second baby. I was in the thick of new motherhood with two under two, experiencing severe postpartum depression. With the help of my family, friends and outside community resources, I was able to begin to feel like myself again. I was forever grateful for the resources that had been available to me, and wanted to find a way to support new families. With a degree in health communications and a strong desire to work in the world of women’s health and family support, doula work felt like the perfect fit.
After working with numerous families in both the birth and postpartum space, I am constantly humbled by how powerful birth can be, how unique each experience is, and how beautiful it is to see parents and families be who they were always meant to be.
As your doula I will be there with you every step of the way, nurturing a strong relationship with you in pregnancy. I will provide you with up to date evidence based information you can take with you to your birth, so that you have the tools and confidence to make educated decisions in the birth space. I will be there to offer emotional as well as physical support in labor and birth, while encouraging you to be a director of your experience!
I will come to see you in those first few weeks postpartum to process the birth and ensure you are feeling supported moving forward. Whether that looks like postpartum doula support, or working to create a support team of family, friends, and community resources, I want to ensure you feel seen, heard and supported as you navigate this new chapter. You weren’t meant to go through it alone!
I look forward to connecting and am honored to work with you.
